20 minutes interview with recruiter followed by a 30 minute interview with the production superintendent. Overall it was a pleasant process. I was being considered for a different position than what I applied for.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Solvay (Houston, TX)
Interview
Met recruiters at university career expo. Gave them my resume and they interviewed 4-8 people in my graduating class. The very first interview was on-site and all day. I had breakfast over an interview with the HR manager, then we drove to the plant and I met with 4 other people that I would be working with on a regular basis.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I don't remember specific questions, but I was basically meeting all the main people I would be working with in individual interviews (5 different people, 1-2 hour interview or meal each). I clicked with everyone, so the questions really just felt like casual conversation. Other people I spoke to about their interviews said that this was one of their hardest, most intense interviews since you are being scrutinized by different people literally all day.
