I was contacted to do a hirevue to answer basic interview questions and then I had the final round interview which was a panel interview of 4 technical support managers asking me questions (again really basic questions as this particular position was for Early Career). I didn't mind the final panel interview but at times it was silent as the interviewers were I guess thinking of questions to ask but overall the managers were nice and easy to talk to. What I didn't like about this interview process is that 1) I never met with HR to discuss basic things about the job such as things like salary, learning more about the position and what it entails, etc. and 2) I never heard back after the panel interview. The lack of proper communication is a huge negative in my eyes. I didn't get a rejection, I haven't gotten any updates at all and it's pretty frustrating since based upon the other reviews on Glassdoor, this is a common experience.

Basic questions asking about your experience, why SAS, etc.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SAS (Austin, TX) in Nov 2016
Interview
Applied online. Received a phone screening interview from HR about 2-3 weeks later, then another phone interview with a hiring manager about a week later. Final interview was on site and included an hour worth of behavior and background questions. Very positive experience. Most questions are pretty general, but some can range to more technical.
