Quick and painless. A few phone calls that led to an onsite interview. Recruiters were friendly and engaging. I did not get the position, but they were nice enough to tell em during my visit and offer some constructive feedback.

Question 1
If you could do anything in the company, what would you do?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Riot Games (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
I wouldn’t call myself a gamer but I do play video games on a regular basis. When I interviewed with the recruiter was very rude. Approached the call like, prove why you are fit. Didn’t engage me
or try to convince me to want to work for Riot. Very condescending. She asked me if I played league and I said no but I played around a bit and she started asking me detailed questions about the game that I had no idea how to answer.. From and HR practice, it’s a poor practice to only hire people who are gamers and they will limit your opportunities to hire diverse talent as most gamers are men. There is no reason
for HR to throughly understand the game to work here. If I was Dev, Marketing, maybe but not HR. There has to be a Bro Culture at this company and reading some recent articles they allegedly have a culture of sexism. No surprise here! Stay away, especially if you are a female. They way I was treated during the interview was horrible.
They had high ratings in Glassdoor so I was surprised by my experience. One of the worst interviews I have ever had. There are many other great gaming companies to work for so I am glad it didn’t work
out.
Good riddance!
I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Riot Games in Feb 2016
Interview
3 screening interviews on phone then on site panel with 7 people from different teams. Then final interview with sponsor. Long process that went on for almost 5 months but in the end it was worth it.
