I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Riot Games in Mar 2022
Interview
Riot's recruiting process is extremely convoluted and they did not respect my time at all. The whole process took around 2.5 months. There was a recruiter screening and then six other interviews after that. So 7 interviewers total clocking in at 7.5 hours. Made it all the way through the final round and they ghosted me with a generic automated response. Very unprofessional. The job position is still posted on the website. It has been there for 9 months.

Question 1
Explain a time you had to implement a difficult project with many stakeholders
Schedule an online interview with a recruiter for screening. Recuriter was late but apologetic, used AI for her notes, runs about 20 minutes. Got feedback in about two weeks didn't pass somehow.
I recently interviewed for a role with Riot Games and was initially in direct contact with an internal recruiter. Unfortunately, after investing time in the process, I received a very generic rejection email — unsigned and without any personal touch — despite having had personal correspondence earlier. I also noticed that the role had been reposted a few days before my rejection, which gave the impression that a decision had already been made before notifying me. While I appreciate that not every candidate can be hired, I believe the candidate experience could be improved by providing more timely, transparent, and personalised communication. I would not apply here again.
Waste of time. So many interviews over several months. Auto reject after 3 months of interviews. The position stayed online for 9 months after I got rejected. Recruiter couldn't give me any more information after being my best buddy for months. Made it to the final round..
