I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Qualcomm in Feb 2013
Interview
I was initially contacted by HR to set up my profile on their website after submitting my resume through the university Internship Program. Then they emailed to set up a phone interview. They initially set the interview with two people, but on the day of the interview I found out it was to only be one.
The interviewer was very friendly and accommodating, re-phrasing questions when I didn't understand what he was after.
He asked why I wanted to work there, what I knew about the position, and what I had done to prepare for the interview. He asked about my organizing and prioritizing skills.
He asked me to explain what a .PST file was and my experience with Outlook and with troubleshooting network and PC issues.
He was very conversational easy going and went out of his way to put me at ease.
Overall, it was a great experience and I am looking forward to working with him.

Question 1
What did you do to prepare to begin work on your last project?
Very disorganized. 30 min phone interview. I don't know how can one judge somebody in a 30 min phone interview. The interviewer did not care about my experience nor introduced himself, group and the job description. Just started asking some coding questions on the phone which is difficult to answer. Also got irritated when I asked for question clarification. And then said got to go...I thought this was the worst interview I ever had. I had interviewed with QC 5 years ago and it was very pleasant.
