I applied through college or university. I interviewed at PepsiCo
Interview
I was brought in to the plant about a month after submitting my resume at a college career fair. I was surrounded by chemical engineers and seemed to be interviewed for a mechanical engineering position (I'm an electrical engineer). Each of us was interviewed by two people (HR & technical) - one of mine was brought in that morning and seemed unprepared. He admitted not knowing what to ask me (because he didn't know anything regarding electrical engineering) and seemed bored.. Besides the technical questions, I got the typical personality questions (tell me about a difficult situation, 3 words that describe you, signs of leadership - describe a situation, etc.).
We were shown around the plant, fed, and given a goody bag. They definitely tried to make us feel welcomed.

Interview
Went through Career Center, got the interview after submitting cover letter and resume, 2 thirty minute interviews. Interviewers were very nice, half technical questions and half behavioral questions.

What to do if your competitor raises the price of their product?
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Valhalla, NY)
Interview
I first talked to PepsiCo at an undergraduate engineering career fair, after which I left them with my resume. Two weeks later, I got an email inviting me to interview at their Global R&D facility in Valhalla, NY. They helped arrange transportation there, and had a full afternoon scheduled for us, including multiple interviews, a presentation, and a tour of the facility. Everyone there was very friendly and the interviews went smoothly, although they almost felt too casual. I wasn't particularly interested in working for a food and beverage company, and while I had engaging conversations with my two interviewers, we didn't talk much about the kind of work I would be doing as part of the internship. They felt more like conversations than interviews. Apparently they picked up on that sentiment as well, because I didn't end up getting an offer from them. If you want to work there, my advice would be to do some research on your own so you can talk specifics, and to really demonstrate your interest in working for a food and beverage company.

Question 1
The most difficult part of the interview, I would say, was that they didn't actually ask many technical questions or even many questions about why you were interested in the job. So, it was up to you to demonstrate your interest and qualifications, perhaps by asking your own questions.
