I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Paychex (Phoenix, AZ) in Jan 2019
Interview
The interview process went extremely well. It was very professional but casual enough to not feel stressed. The entire interview lasted about an hour and 15 minutes and I was offered the position about 45 minutes in.

Question 1
Usual behavior questions like what are some positive/negative things about yourself.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paychex (Denver, CO)
Interview
First there was the standard phone interview, which was very basic, almost too basic for what was to come...
Then there was the in person. This was by far the most stressful interview I’ve ever endured. Understandably challenging giving the position, but three hours?! That’s a little extensive and practically a waste to those being interviewed who are currently employed.

Question 1
Tell us about a time you overlooked a procedure and it had an adverse outcome?
How did that make you feel?
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I'm sorry to hear that your experience was so stressful. While we do want to ensure our interview process is comprehensive and helps determine a strong mutual fit, 3+ hours does seem excessive. We'd like to discuss this in more detail with you if you're open to doing so. Please contact us at TA_-_Managers@paychex.com.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paychex (Penfield, NY) in Jun 2015
Interview
I was brought in three times, had 4 different interviewers come in and out of the room I was in asking questions. Then received a call 2 weeks later that I did not get the position.
