Question 1
What is my favorite accomplish thus far? What is one failure or disappointment I have professionally and how could I have done it better? What is my career path thus far?
The interview process was short and to the point. There were a couple of team members in the interview that were part of the development team. We had two interviews to get acquainted and learn about what the role entails.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Paychex (Rochester, NY) in Jul 2023
Interview
It was brief, informative and outgoing. The interviewers were able to answer any questions, about the company's culture, about the job and what direction the company is heading in and their plans for the future. It seemed like an incredibly positive outlook. This seemed like a fitting organization to get my foot in the door, as the interviewers were very insightful.
They did say they were going to reach out in a couple weeks, but I got rejected a few hours later from them (same day). The overall interview seemed fine, but I've been finding postings for this position hosted from temp agencies. I don't know what happened to this company, it seems like they took a plunge in recent years. Similar reviews share similar distaste too.
Even a position like this somehow was difficult to get. But there is just a few too many red flags that I cannot ignore. Try this company at your discretion, but know it seems like their employment retention isn't so great. I know someone who works here and from what I heard, their structure is a mess.
