Panda Express interview questions

the restaurant was just opening so there was a mass hiring. Had one phone interview followed by a 1:1. Got a call about a week later with the job offer and started training a few days after that. Overall it was a very simple process

Basic behavioral/skills interview questions. They will also probe on all of your answers to see if there is any depth to you. It is actually extremely uncomfortable interview as if you're talking to a bunch of robots. Stiff! They had me look at how the employees were working and provide feedback. For counter help or cooks, if you tell them that the reason you were interested in working there is because you like the food, make sure you know what item (by name) you like, since they will use that as proof of your "attention to detail". I've actually seen many potential employees rejected for saying how much they like the shrimp fried rice, and General Tso's Chicken, which we don't have. They want "leaders" even for the lower positions.
