Interview
3 rounds of interviews. The first and Second interview were technical interviews. Third was a general HR interview. In the First interview I was asked how I will approach the RFP to create a payroll application. The interview was very drilling. Second interview was a case based interview where I was given a case and had to come up with a minimum viable product.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Oracle
Interview
OCI Interview: The interview process consists of several phases: Recruiter Screen, Technical Screen (by another Product Manager), and then panel interviews that include your Hiring Manager. Panel includes IC and Manager from both Product and from Engineering team (no UX cross functional) and a bartender who is a panel interviewee not in the department you're applying for. I've worked in the past and interviewed at FAANG+ companies and the process felt very similar. I felt like I need to lean into technical pedigree a little heavier than past tech product roles I've gone for. The overall time from application (with referral from HM) was longer than I was expecting: on the order of two months.
