I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Oracle (Trichy) in Jan 2013
Interview
First round: General aptitude questions and some puzzles. You're expected to give proper solutions. Now, one piece of advice: Think out loud. That way even if you aren't able to arrive at an answer they get to know your line of thought. That way they might correct you or say things like 'what if...' that way you can think of another possible solution. This might not fetch you the same points as someone who's giving the right answer but the thing is, for an interviewer, this is better than getting a blank stare.
Second round: C/C++ questions and I was asked one data structures question which I was expected to code(write the actual code and not just a snippet). I think they'd asked how to find the loop in a doubly linked list(not sure). They look for boundary conditions and expect you to give a neat working code.
Third round: I was asked one logic question which I was asked to code the solution for in any language(again full code, not just the algorithm). I don't remember if they'd asked me any SQL questions in this round. Even if they had, it would have been a few simple queries only.
Fourth round: Final round was a courtesy sake HR round. You're pretty much done if you've reached this round. Just don't say anything as stupid as you're planning on doing an MS or something.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Oracle (Bengaluru) in Jan 2014
Interview
Starts with telephonic. Most of the question are general c++ java sql.Followed by F2F (1 or 2) rounds resume questions and some basic puzzles. Just thorough on your resume and everything will be fine. I got offer and accepted it. Entire process took almost 6 months.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Oracle (New Delhi) in Dec 2012
Interview
Interview was pretty straight forward, the interview panel asked me questions from data structure and algorithm. And few questions from data base. There was no HR round as this was campus hiring. After some time like four to 5 hours when all the interviews were done I got the news that I got selected. After few months I got the formal offer letter as well. And there was a coffee connect session from the director of oracle.
