Three rounds of interview. Cleared first one. Second one was pathetic. They asked text bookish, theoretical questions. They were not trying to check if the candidate have problem solving capability.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Nokia in Oct 2019
Interview
It was for the position of a contracted employee on the payroll on an Indian MNC.
I was informed that there is a technical telephonic round has been scheduled from Nokia, Noida. During the interview, there were two technical interviewers and they made a call after the scheduled time and instead of saying sorry for late, they directly started with the technical questions.
Their behaviour was very dominating and instead of having a healthy discussion, their attitude was like a commanding one.
In the next technical F2F round, The way interviewer was asking questions and discussing the technical parts was also a bit negative and dominating tone. Not sure if this is the general culture inside their entire project teams. Also, the questions which he was asking is not related to my profile.
I got selected in the telephonic round but not in F2F. Even if I got selected then I would be better away for such an organization who don't know how to even have a proper interview with a candidate.
Although this experience is based on the role of a contractual employee, so not sure about the ones who got interviewed on permanent payroll.
My advice to the people who are going to join on contractual payroll, please have proper research and get some feedback from a person who actually works in Nokia then only consider to join this organization.
