I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at NVIDIA (Santa Clara, CA) in Nov 2024
Interview
I applied online without a referral. The first round was a 45-minute interview focused on Python and networking. The interviewer got annoyed when I didn’t have a clear answer to a question, acting like I was challenging their authority, which was uncomfortable. The second round was a 30-minute system design interview with the hiring manager, and that went well. It felt like a good conversation. The recruiter was unprofessional. When I told them I had a competing offer, they just ghosted me. Even before that, their communication was slow and frustrating. Out of three interactions I had with people at the company, two were pretty bad. I wouldn’t recommend interviewing here.
Two technical interviews. Lots of conceptual questions regarding what you'd be doing on the job and questions about prior experience related to the role. Some trivia questions too, related to operating systems, concurrency, etc.
2 rounds, both had technical leetcode style questions. Don't remember the topics. They also asked questions about experiences and projects on my resume. Overall a good and fair interview process.
