I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NHS (Llanfairfechan, Wales) in Dec 2015
Interview
I had discussed the role with the Line Manager prior to applying (which they advise everyone to do to show interest). She made me aware of the intensity of the role and the requirements so I was ready for some of the interview questions. There were three people on the panel- the Line Manager, Team Leader and the Lead Clinician for the speciality. They were all open and encouraging and allowed room to expand on the questions if I felt it was relevant.
Log on to NHS Jobs to apply. It does take few weeks to get back that you successfully shortlisted though. Often they indicate application closing date. The recruitment process thus take about a month as you have to go through security checks and the rest.
