I received an email and two phone calls, promptly after my application informing me that I was accepted for an online interview. After a series of non-timed questions appeared on the screen before the interview. The actual interview recorded me answering three questions over webcam. I was able to redo my interview once before submitting it. Two weeks later, I followed up and learned that this pre-interview is used to send out to different applicable departments within the studio.

Question 1
Why did you pick NBC Universal over other studios?
I applied online. I interviewed at NBCUniversal in Apr 2012
Interview
Takes 2 weeks for each round. In total I got through 2 rounds of interviews. The first round is telephone, signal was not good because I was in Italy at that time. But I was able to make it. The 2nd was via video call; however the interviewers rambled on spontaneous questions that I didn't understand what they really meant to ask me.

Question 1
Nothing special in particular. Mostly basic questions about my passion, my career plan and commitment to work during summer time
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NBCUniversal in Feb 2013
Interview
I applied online through NBCUniversal's own interface. I was emailed a few days after asking me to set up a phone interview. I was not in the US at the time, so I tried to schedule a Skype call. I do not recommend this. NBCU's HR is not equipped to handle Skype calls easily, although they did try to accommodate me.

Question 1
Nothing really too difficult. I got tripped up when they asked the most generic question in the world: What do you know about NBCUniversal? Talk about a question with 1000 different answers.
