I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at NBCUniversal in Jun 2016
Interview
Received an email from the intern supervisor followed with guidelines to set up an interview. I did mine over Skype and it was very conversational and easy going. I felt at home and really enjoyed speaking with the whole team (VP, two directors, intern supervisor). They contacted me via email a week and a half later that I was being offered the position.

You listed on your resume that you did ____. How did you do that?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at NBCUniversal
Interview
I had a referral but I had to still apply online and follow through with the process. It was well-organized... I did the video interview which allows you 2 retries if you are unhappy with the first go. Few weeks later got an email to set up an in-person interview and 3-4 weeks later I got an offer via email!
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (Sydney) in Feb 2014
Interview
The interview process was incredibly easy and straightforward. I had a one on one interview with my supervisor that I would be working for and he was very friendly. The interview was more informational than anything else; more of them talking about what the internship would entail rather than asking me hard questions.
