I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Meta
Interview
Had a first round interview with a researcher that gave me a scenario related to UX research and was asked to discuss how you would conduct the research end-to-end. Included discussion of recruitment, methods, analyses, and reporting. Second round interview included a presentation of my own research to a panel. Was told to relate the research back to Facebook in some way.
Met with a current UX researcher who asked me technical questions about UX research. Lasted around 45 minutes and was more of a conversation as we walked through a problem together.

Interview
I had four interviews in total. The first one was a phone interview. Next was a qualitative interview focusing on a scenario to test how you approach research. The third one was a research presentation. And the last one was similar to the first one.
