I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Meta
Interview
Technical Interview, 45 minutes, one engineer did the video call and to was towards the end of the year. There was an interruption during the call. The engineer seems a little uninterested throughout the entire process.
Was contacted by Facebook through career center.
Just 1 interview with 2 questions. Finished in 30 minutes and talked with interviewer who TAd the same course I was TAing at the time. Very friendly.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Meta (Baltimore, MD) in Sep 2017
Interview
He asked to describe favorite project and if you use any other their languages, such as React.Js they will ask you what you like about it.
You can answer the technical questions in which ever language is fine. They aren't necessarily heard problems. But I have noticed that especially with facebook interviews, they aren't really trying to see how much you know, they want to see a little bit of that, but also how you work with the recruiters to building the answer.
