Interview
I interviewed out of curiosity and only spent 2 days researching and preparing.
I can't stress enough, if you really want the job you have to spend at least 2 weeks preparing so you can craft your frameworks and responses. There are time pressured questions and you really need to feel comfortable with your frameworks.
The people I met were very nice and it was much more informal than what I expected.
I got some feedback from the PMs and there were comments such as "it is very stressful as a PM" and "how to survive as a PM at Meta" which gave me the impression it's a tough gig. However I would expect that at a company like Meta.
Fairly straightforward, what you see online. Product sense/execution/leadership. Know the Meta products very well, especially for execution questions. For product sense know Meta and related company products. For leadership and drive, they emphasize communication, reaction to feedback, influence, etc.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Meta (New York, NY) in Feb 2022
Interview
Two interview process: Execution and Product Sense.
Meta provides resources for how to prepare for the interview and there are tons of videos online. At the end of the day, you need to also focus on how to handle the stress. The interview requires you to think on your feet and have good rational for the answers you provide.
Overall a good experience and I hope to interview again at some point in my career.
