I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Meta (Palo Alto, CA) in Jan 2024
Interview
Recruiter reached out and wanted to do a phone call check. Declining because the goals are not aligned with each other. Maybe another time it will work out but not today.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Meta
Interview
Pretty standard tech product design interview process, their internal career platform is really concise and answers pretty much all logistical questions. I applied for the University Grad role and it felt pretty rushed, college finals overlapped and felt forced to take it or leave it for the interview dates (Nice: You can choose your available dates and times and they'll work with it)
What surprised me is that the behavioral interview only consisted of questions about my projects in my presentation so prepare to know your projects in and out, 0 standard interview questions were asked.
Generally great. Pretty streamlined and efficient overall. Talked with them in 2 rounds with recruiters and hiring manager. Basically walk thru the previous design work. And they ask some questions related to your work
