Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me a time when you had to resolve a conflict.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Meta in Jan 2025
Interview
Recruiter reached out via email (I assume sourced from LinkedIn). After my discussion with the recruiter they provided materials about what to expect and how to prepare. The materials were good and applicable to the interviews and the topics we covered. So I do recommend using these resources. I was setup with an initial round (Eng Mgr round + Design Round). I received feedback that I cleared the round from the recruiter and then was setup for a full-loop. Again the recruiter had materials to share which clearly outlined expectations and what we would cover in each interview. The interviews included 1 System Design, 1 Coding, 1 Managerial round, 1 "Behavioral" round, and 1 Project retrospective round. Materials on how to properly prepare for each and every interview are in the packet they give you. You can pick you interview availability, so once you have the packet, you can give yourself some time to prepare if needed.

Interview
The first round was a recruiter screen which was a pretty simple conversation getting background information.
The next round was two 45 minute interviews - one was a technical solution architecting and the second was behavioral

Behavioral questions were all the standard ones that you get for an EM. I don't recall the specific questions, but they asked questions to make sure that you can have a difficult conversation with employees
