I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Meta in Oct 2015
Interview
Applied through career fair. Got an on campus interview call after one week. Interview was scheduled 3 weeks after I got the email about being selected for the interview process. Facebook also hosted a dinner for all the people who were being interviewed.

Then he asked my 'read' system call implementation, he provided me with a base file system interface which would always fetch 4k bytes from the current position. I had to make sure I read only as much bytes as specified in my system call
Overall, the process took a little over two weeks, which felt a bit longer than I anticipated. After a quick screening, I went through two technical rounds focusing on coding and DSA concepts. One of the questions was a classic palindrome check; mid-way through, I realized it was something I had practiced on PracHub just days earlier. The final step was a casual behavioral interview. I was relieved to get an offer shortly after, which I happily accepted.
