I was called in to an interview to be in person in the store. The interview was going good but I thought it was someone odd. It because clear at the end I had been called into an interview for a job I did not apply to which was a part time client advisor. It came up when benefits and pay were being discussed. I was told that this role for an expert client advisor was internal only and I had applied to the part time role. I was very confused, but I did go home and check my online portal and I did apply to this role. It also did not say on the posting that this was internal only. I was also taken aback because they would not disclose the wage or commission structure to me for the part time role which the other role had it disclosed. I live in a state with pay transparency laws, so I found this odd and deeply concerning. I did call out I was seeking full time employment, and was told this is not how this company hires. Sure enough, weeks later I received a handwritten rejection letter because I had never applied for the part time role. All around messed up and rude process. It is very deceiving to do this to a candidate,
