When I arrived in AVIVA,there were around 200 candidates. We had the opportunity to talk with other candidates and people who works there. We watched a Lidl presentation about the company and at the end we could ask questions. Then, we did 2 group activities. The first, we had to see pictures and without showing it to the others in the group, we had to describe it. The others did the same. We had to figure out the order of the pictures based on what the others in the group said. The second activity was a case study. We had a budget and we had to propose how we could improve a Lidl store with the budget given. Also we had an individual activity; we had to write about a campaign and answer a few questions about PR and social media.
After the break, the last stage, we had a speed interview. We had 5 min to talk about our CV (education, work experience and career objectives. Finally the panel asked me questions. They asked me what I would change in Lidl; why do I wanna work in retail and why PR is important for Lidl.
It was a tough day and all candidates were really well prepared. Some of them, with experience abroad and a fluent German. I don't know If I will succeed, but it worth it having this experience.
