I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Lidl (Dubin) in Jan 2016
Interview
The application process is quite lengthly but very fair as they are looking for top talent. The first interview day consists of two rounds if you get into the 2nd one that is. If you impressed them enough they will invite you for a 1:1 interview.

Tell me about a time when you struggled to meet a deadline
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lidl (Southampton, Angleterre) in Nov 2016
Interview
Telephone Interview first where the Polish lady commented I didn't have much retail experience (I have 35 years, maybe she didnt know the English companies I have worked for), followed by a call asking why I had not replied to an email regarding a 2nd interview which I had never received. Finally the "interview" for 1pm was in fact 11 people being talked to for an hour before a 30 minute test then a several hour wait to be seen. I left at 4pm, this was the most embarrassing selection process I have ever been part of. I then sent their HR department a long letter detailing these issues, but no reply, only to be followed later by an e-mail from the Polish lady saying I was unsuccessful (er, you'll find I walked out of your process!).
