I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at L'Oréal (New York, NY)
Interview
A recruiter contacted me and set up a call. I felt the recruiter was rushing through my resume and not really interested in seeing if I was a fit for the internship (which was strange considering I had very similar other experiences on my resume) - maybe they had already picked a candidate they had liked better so not very interested in me. The recruiter also was not explaining the role well at all and left me more confused about what my job responsibilities would be -- this made it difficult to explain why I would be a fit. Very shortly after I got an email that I was not selected to move forward with the role. I sent a polite response thanking the recruiter for their time and asking for any feedback if I were apply to other similar roles; no response.

Question 1
Why are you interested in being an intern in this department?
The job interview was very pleasant, with a relaxed and direct atmosphere. It was very insightful. The discussion included a short case study where you had to apply simple mathematical rules.
Friendly HR intern but with low interest in the candidates’ background. Very quickly it comes to end. The time between invitation and interview is quite short for well preparation and final response were very slow.

Typical behavioral interview, plus may need to do a case study depending on the requirements of the full-time position. To convert from intern to full-time, also presented my project from my internship.
