I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kroger in Sep 2010
Interview
I applied online was called in for an interview a couple of weeks later, to take place at a different store than the one I applied to. The interview itself was extremely easy, probably the easiest interview I've ever had.
I was asked why I was wanting to leave my current company and after giving an answer, we started discussing the job details, such as pay, training and what to expect. At the end of the interview, I was given a drug test and was informed that they would have the results back in a few days. Overall, I was in the office for less than 30 minutes. I received confirmation at the end of the week that I had been hired and I started training the next week.

Interview
It was pretty straightforward...I applied online and recieved a call about 7 days later. This only being a PT job for me, I needed to come in later to do my interview. The administrative assistant who did my interview seemed very rushed and had more work to do than she should have. I took the oral drug test and was basically offered the job once the test came back negative.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kroger (Cincinnati, OH) in Dec 2008
Interview
Went in for the interview and was basically handed the job because they were short staffed. It helped I knew people working there. They asked you generic what would you do if this happened. You tell them a "calm response" ie. go get a manger if you have an unruly customer.
