Got contacted by a recruiter. Had a phone call with a data scientist which went great. Was scheduled for two other interviews one technical, on e with hiring manager. The technical one did not go well. Showed up in the second one and no one showed up. 5 min into the interview I emailed the recruiter and got no response back. They wasted my time and never got back to me. It was rude.
Kayak is stuck in their old ways and it shows during the interview process. The questions they ask are centered around old techniques like “Best Flights To Tokyo”. They aren’t really modernizing with CRO so expect to be asked about techniques that were best practice years ago.
Pretty efficient and fast HR screen. They had a handful of behavioral questions to make sure why you are interviewing. Then they do a manager round and a few tech questions before the tech round.
