I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Infosys (Mumbai) in Oct 2011
Interview
This was the process followed at an on-campus test in India.
The hiring process included an aptitude test that followed the CAT pattern: It included three sections - Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, and Data Interpretation.
The results of the aptitude test were announced within 5 hours.
The HR interview was conducted the next day. On an average, it took 12 mins/candidate.
It was a simple interview consisting of questions that you can't possibly want to prepare for. Just be yourself.
Hired.

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Infosys (Mangalore) in Sep 2011
Interview
it was a campus interview. 1st round was a written test which has loads of aptitude, verbal questions along with puzzles. This round is a little tough to crack and requires preparation. On clearing this, the 2nd round is an HR interview which is basically just a formality...with questions like "why infy?"..."what plans for future?" etc etc.
