The interview process was not very professional, it was more like a questionnaire or survey of questions which had to be answered. The interviewers just shot questions like whether or not you used their app? (come on, you may know about it, but who said you had to use it?) They didn't seem too happy when I told them I don't use online dating. The questions were sharp and they demanded that you suggest a strategy on how to develop a market for their product. Why would anyone share a strategy or idea with them prior to being hired?
I read some good things about the company before I accepted the interview, but was very disappointed by the quality of professionalism who conducted the interview. Maybe because I seem older than them, so they couldn't contribute value to the talk? Not sure, but overall, I doubt I would accept the job anyways, even if they paid me more...
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hyperconnect
Interview
Applied online through the web page as university recruiting. 4 weeks later, received an email to schedule a phone interview (with a senior engineer), and took it after 2 weeks.
