The whole interview process was super straightforward and standard for the position. I started talking to the recruiter after I applied online. I got a take-home challenge. Then, I went on-site.
During the on-site, you can feel what is like to work at HubSpot, the hostility is palpable. In one of the the interviews, the interviewer was extremely condescending and was constantly patronizing me.
Later on, another interviewer asked me a simple coding challenge and just walked out of the room afterwards. No follow up question, nor giving me a chance to ask questions. We finished with 30mins of spare, so it’s not like he was late for another meeting or something.
The interview with the hiring manager was not any better. He was constantly interrupting me while trying to answer questions and was constantly dismissive towards my prior experience.
I wouldn’t recommend anybody I know interview here. It was overall a very uncomfortable/cringe set of interviews.
