Terrible recruiting experience and waste of time. Recruiters misrepresented salary expectations and then pulled a bait and switch last minute. I was very frustrated by this experience and felt they didn't care because of their size.
the process was friendly but very in depth in terms of tasks and questions.
It covered past experience and best use cases while also covering practical task to demonstrate thinking and presentation skills.

Question 1
How would you develop and execute a go-to-market (GTM) strategy for a new HubSpot feature targeting small and medium-sized businesses?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at HubSpot (Boston, MA) in Nov 2024
Interview
I scheduled an interview for work with the product team, and the interviewer interviewed me for a software engineering role. Imagine my surprise when I verified that they were reaching out about a product management role and they were actually doing an initial screen for tech. I do happen to be a software engineer, but I would not have agreed to an interview for software engineering, as I am looking for a career change which they explicitly acknowledged in their messages to me, and in the interview. It took 25 minutes to learn that they were trying to interview me for a software role.
Additionally, my first interview with this place several years ago, they gave me a take-home, and failed me because their system was broken. I have no interest in working for such an organization. The interviewer confirmed to me that they were nothing like that, but then proceeded to send me ANOTHER take-home interview.
No respect for the interviewee here, and I'm sure that tracks to no respect to their employees.
