I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2025
Interview
The interview process was pretty straightforward. They have a role-play. My experience was a little different. I had applied for both the market and corporate role. I got reached out for both. But when telling the recruiter, I was only interested in the higher up role. Without even giving me a chance, she just pigeon hold me in the mid market role. Saying that I had a way better chance for the mid market role/safer play.
I understand if I’m not qualified - but to not even give me a chance once you guys had already reached out to set up time for the corporate role… seemed a little wrong.

Question 1
As a lot of questions around sequencing/email blast.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at HubSpot (Deltona, FL) in May 2025
Interview
Straightforward interview process. The inital interview consists of the same questions you always get asked "Why are you interested in this role?" "Why would you be a great fit?"
2nd interview consists of a mock call. This is where I dropped the ball. It was quite difficult and took a lot of preparation.
Final interview is with the sales director to ask similar questions as the initial interview, and if you're a good culture fit, Didn't get that far though.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot in Jul 2025
Interview
Interviewer showed very little knowledge of the sales process. They structure it as a discovery call, he clearly didnt understand the purpose of a discovery call, had "what we heard" slides prepared, he pivoted and said lets do it as a phone call instead.... then wante dto test my knwoledge of hubspot more than sales discovery principle's.
