I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at HubSpot (Paris) in Dec 2025
Interview
The interview process included a first interview with a recruiter, followed by a second interview with the hiring manager. Each interview lasted around 30 minutes.
The recruiter was extremely competent and professional, and provided very constructive feedback after each step. There was a lot of clarity, transparency, and genuine kindness throughout the process, which made the experience very positive.
The hiring manager was also very open and approachable, which made the conversation easy and engaging. The team shared the STAR interview method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to help structure answers to behavioral questions, which was very helpful and showed a real desire to set candidates up for success.
At the time I exited the process, there were still 3–4 additional interview stages planned. While the final decision wasn’t the one I hoped for, the overall interview experience was respectful, well-structured, and positive.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were quite standard and well-structured:
introduction and background,
types of events I’ve organized,
an example of a successful event,
an example of an event that didn’t work as expected,
how I prioritize and balance marketing and sales requests,
how I measure and analyze the success of an event.
Overall, the questions were straightforward and relevant to the role.
