I applied online and after 5 weeks received an email from HR asking for my availabilities for a first interview. I gave some dates, didn’t hear back, wrote again with updated dates but did get any response. The online application was not updated.

It had many steps. They have an internal recruitment team who do many of the preliminary stages without involving those who are hiring. Only when you get to interview do the people responsible for making the hiring decisions start to assess you. It can seem long.
