The process took 12 months. I interviewed at HSBC (New York, NY) in Sep 2023
Interview
Online process with a HireVue interview. Absolutely a waste of time. I did great on the interview and was hopeful for an opportunity... over a year ago. That's correct - it has been over a year since I applied and they just processed my application. I am already in a new position somewhere else with no interest in a firm that treats prospective employees this way. Do not waste your time.

Question 1
Why do you think HSBC is the right company for you?
The company has way too many rounds of assessments, which I found exhausting. Ultimately, I was rejected because my résumé didn’t meet their requirements. However, I believe the résumé screening should have been done before sending me the assessments, not afterward.
