it was good, simple and and everyone was really polite and understanding. the questions were a little confusing but it was okay in the end. i did not get the job though
The virtual sessions with the recruiters were well enough as they were friendly and kept me updated about the whole process. The round with the hiring manager just put me off. He switched off his video & asked me to keep mine on and just asked his prepared list of questions. He wasn’t keen to take questions either. I had the impression that he had already made up his mind & was doing the interview just because he had to. It just gave the feeling of an arrogant organisation! I wonder how the face to face interviews happen. Probably put you in a room with a one way viewing glass & interrogate?
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All related to work experience & knowledge about Google & their competition
The interview process was a 3 step process. The first interview was a phone interview and was relatively simple. The second interview was a video interview and was with a current google employee. The third interview was back to back with the second and was with another google employee. You really had to prepare using the star approach to answer all questions. There were no crazy interview questions like "how many tennis balls can fit in an airplane?". Questions were fairly simple and straightforward.
