      Software Engineering Interview

      Jul 9, 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Washington, DC
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Washington, DC) in Mar 2015

      Interview

Mostly what everyone else says. if you get to that part where you are being matched with teams be VERY intentional about asking potential teams detailed questions. These are the people who will be reviewing your work. Ask them what metrics they use to access new coders work. Asl them what their team goals are for the next 6 months. Ask them how they onboard to their team. I ended up on a team that had never had an intern before and it was stressful not having a team that could mentor a younger college student.
