      Interview

This interview was by far out of the ordinary when it came to interview questions. Really made you think if you answered the question correctly. Never felt intimidated during the process. Overall this was a good experience, made me reflect on other interviews.

      Interview

My phone interview went great. I had a panel board interview a few days later with about 6 people. That seemed to go really well I left with a very positive feeling like I would really like to work for GE Capital. A few days later I received an email stating that there was another interview scheduled but then I got another email shortly after stating that that email was meant for someone else. I did email Human Resources let them know that I was very interested in the position and that I enjoyed meeting everyone. A few weeks later I got an email stating that she was no longer pursuing me as a candidate. I went to the website to take a look at the job status and noticed that they had me marked as I turned down an offer from GE. I then email Human Resources again to tell them that I never received an offer from GE. The response was that I turned down the offer of Titles Associate because it wasn't enough money and therefore was no longer being pursued as Insurance Associate. I emailed HR back letting them know that no one had contact me and I was never offered a position. HR responded back with that there was some confusion on their end and they would get back to me ASAP. A week or two went by and I emailed human resources stating I have not heard anything. HR emailed me back stating that they had just spoke with the hiring manager and the team really enjoyed meeting with me and somebody would be contact with me early next week with a :-). I received an email I was no longer being considered for either position. I emailed human resources to find out why I was considered for both positions and now I went to being turned down for both. HR then called me and told me that there was a mix up and that I was actually never being considered for either position and that they had mix me up with somebody, who had a name similar to mine who just happened to apply for the exact same positions as I did and turned them down. Overall, VERY negative and unprofessional experience.
