I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at FedEx Freight (San Antonio, TX) in Mar 2013
Interview
Basically if you have a commercial drivers license, not obese and basic human functioning skills with no criminal record or dui's you should be able to get a job. If you can show up everyday and not be a mutant then you should be able to get a job driving a truck. If you do get hired you have to go through a 2-4 week long training course, you don't just get hired and driving a truck on your own the following day.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at FedEx Freight (Huber Heights, OH) in May 2015
Interview
Got a call to come in and interview. Set up a time for the afternoon. Went in way too dressed up (heels). Little hard to find the place, just asked a lot of questions. Met with the supervisor and he briefly described the job and asked me about myself. Laid back, mostly just talking with the supervisor. Was asked to read some signs out loud and explain what they meant. Asked us to do simple math without a calculator.
