I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at FedEx (Pittsburgh, PA) in Jun 2012
Interview
Interview was behavioral in nature. Met with a panel of four individuals including Human Resources, hiring manager, and two other managers. Questions and situations were complex and challenging. I did not feel that the interview elicited the key information about my qualifications and capabilities. There had to be significant latitude for how to interpret the responses. This translates to not necessarily being fair as an interview process, that is, the interviewers could pretty much pick anyone if they wanted to spin a favorite's answers.

Applied through job postings on INFORMS.org in October, 2011 and get the phone interview at the end of Jan, 2012. Phone interview consists of a market sizing question, a revenue calculation problem and several behavioral questions. The on-site interview took place in Mar, 2012 and included 3 1:1 interviews with analysts in the group and a 1:3 panel interview. The panel interview matters the most.
