I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at FDM Group (Londres, Angleterre) in Dec 2010
Interview
There was a whole evaluation day. About 10 candidates were present.
The day consisted of:
-Group activities with observators (building a brick tower; negociation)
-1:1 interviews
-Presentation of sample code: this was extremely basic. I explained code in a language that my interlocutor didn't really know; I had to write a 'hello world' function.
-Logic test
-English test

Interview
Rushed phone message, telling me to interview the next day.
First round: Company overview, logic test, 2 on 1 interview. 2 on 1 interview is not in depth at all. Accepted to next round later that day.
Second Round: 2.5 day skills assessment over various subjects, including 5 minute IT presentation of your chocie. SQL test. If accepted, contract signing on Day 3.
They're moving into new offices on 14th Wall Street, NY office started training in 2010, so new program.
People working there look tired, training room is very small (10 computers?).
Interviewers didn't go in-depth on anything, so make sure to cover what you need to say. Seems like they're simply asking required questions from a script. Interviews for most candidates were about 10 minutes.
