Aptitude test including Mental aptitude test and technical aptitude test. After applying lower cutoff candidates were called for one on one technical interview. After passing the technical interview there was HR interview.

Interview
I had two interviews one on the phone and one on site. The phone interview was very standard about the job, my schooling history, and if I'd be comfortable with working with 3 phase power.
On Site took place over about 3 hours that involved 3 interviews with 5 people the first was with HR going over my expectations for salary and benefits, the second was a technical interview with the two lead engineers that involved writing code for various problems. The final one was with the Manager and the Senior Manager going over basic technical questions as well as personality ones.

Two rounds. Technical and HR based. Technical round: Primarily on previous work ex. Interviewer will try to match your competencies against the job requirements. Situation based questions like "Tell us a situation where you had a difficult work problem and how did you manage it ? " etc.
HR interview: Why Eaton ? Willing to relocate ? How do you connect your prior experience with current role ? Expected salary range ?
