Standard call with HR, interview by a developer and offer. Expect all iOS how-to questions from basics to more advanced ones. Friendliness depends on interviewers mood mostly, but nothing critical
I applied online. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (Colorado Springs, CO) in Jun 2026
Interview
One of the worst interview experiences I’ve had was with this company. I applied for a role that clearly specified Angular in the job description. However, during the interview, the focus was heavily on in-depth cloud topics and Java, even though Java was only listed as a “nice to have.” I do have experience in Java, but surprisingly, Angular was barely covered—only one or two questions—along with just a couple of JavaScript questions.
The interviewer also appeared to be using AI-generated questions and didn’t seem fully familiar with what she was asking. It even made me question whether she had actually reviewed the job description before the interview.
