I applied online. I interviewed at DriveTime Automotive Group (Tempe, AZ)
Interview
First interview was your typical ~15 minute chat around my background, experience, and cultural fit. This was a pleasant experience, nothing out of the ordinary at all. My next interview was with the Head of People, who was significantly late to our call and driving. There seemed to be misalignment in interest and attention to the role and we mutually agreed this wouldn't be a good fit. Job seekers make interviews a priority and this was not a good use of someone's time.
Thank you for sharing your interview experience. This is not the experience we aim to provide. We understand the importance of making interviews a priority and ensuring they are a valuable use of time for all involved. We appreciate your input and wish you the best of luck in your job search.
The process took 1 week. I interviewed at DriveTime Automotive Group (Tempe, AZ) in Jun 2024
Interview
Interview consisted of 3 parts:
1. Phone screening with HR Rep. Thos was about 15 min over the phone to assess interest, work experience, general expectations of the job. 2nd interview was scheduled that day for the following day
2. Teams interview with two AP supervisors. This was about 30 min long. Asked general questions like why you want to work here, what applicable experience you have, career expectations, etc. On site interview was scheduled same day for the following week because one of the interviewers was on pto.
3. On-site interview. Interview in the office with two more Accounting supervisors in a private conference room. More in depth interview, about 30 min.
I received a call with a job offer the following day after the on-site.

I have a past experience interviewing with Drivetime in person, being offered a job but simply never being called back. The company seemed incredibly unorganized and made feel very uncomfortable. Fast forward to now, a few weeks back a recruiter reached out to offer an interview for an IT position. I explained to them that im not sure if I feel comfortable interviewing because of the past interview(s) and explained what happened as well.
There was no response. This company does not seem to take their business serious at all. Because of that I can only assume that employees aren't treated well.
