I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Domino's (Salinas, CA) in Aug 2019
Interview
I was passing by Domino's one day and saw their van outside a location near my home with a "now hiring" sign on it. I applied online and received a response from the manager about 18 hours later. On the phone, he asked me a few questions, including which location I was applying for, and set up an in person interview for 2 or 3 days later on a Monday. The in person interview seemed to go well enough. A few questions were asked. Eventually, he started discussing what hours I'd work and starting pay. He said he'd have to run it by someone else but he'd have answer for me by the end of the day. The end of Monday came and went. I eventually got a reply from him that Thursday. He said that they weren't really looking for help for the location I applied to, the one with the van with a giant "now hiring sign" on it parked right outside, but he wanted to schedule a meet up between me and the person he was running things by. He said he would text me the details to set something up for either the next day or the following Monday. I'm typing this just after midnight on Monday, having never received a text.
