I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Paris) in Jan 2025
Interview
Quite standard really. Went through the process in the UK and decided the Parisian office was where I wanted to be. Interview in English, followed by French in the Paris office. Typical software engineer questions, coupled with some technicals.
The interviewers were professional, engaging, and provided insightful questions that encouraged critical thinking. I appreciated the case-based discussions that tested both my technical knowledge and consulting approach. Additionally, the behavioral interview effectively explored my teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Deloitte (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Sep 2024
Interview
Applied through online job postings, recruiter was helpful. 1st round is a technical round and the interviewer asked basic .net questions but was stuck on syntax wanted 100% correct syntax as at last gave me suggestion to work on syntax. Not a very pleasant experience.
The interview experience for the Java Developer role was positive and smooth. The questions were well-structured, focusing primarily on core Java concepts and Spring Boot, aligning well with the requirements for a backend development position. This included detailed discussions around Java fundamentals, object-oriented programming principles, and some specific questions about the Spring Boot framework, such as dependency injection, RESTful API development, and application configuration.
The interviewers were knowledgeable and approachable, creating a comfortable environment to showcase technical skills. They also asked situational questions relevant to real-world scenarios in backend development, which allowed me to demonstrate both my problem-solving abilities and my practical experience. Overall, the process felt balanced and thorough, providing a clear view of the role’s expectations.
