The interview process for the Audit Associate role was a well-structured and insightful experience that gave me a clear understanding of both the role and the company culture. The conversation was quite relaxed, and the recruiter was friendly, which helped calm my nerves.
The next round was a technical interview with a senior associate. I was asked a mix of questions, some scenario-based and others testing my understanding of core accounting principles like revenue recognition, internal controls, and audit assertions. What stood out to me was that the interviewer wasn’t just focused on right or wrong answers, but also wanted to see how I approached the questions and explained my reasoning.
