The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2010
Interview
2 interviews on the phone with HR, 2 interviews with managers on phone, 1 face to face with hiring manager. HR was a little slow, difficult to get a hold of, but the remaining people were amazing. Made me feel very comfortable. They knew exactly what problems they needed to solve, and what they needed.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Deloitte (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2010
Interview
I got an interview via a referral; had a couple of phone interviews, which went great: i felt my skills are a great match. then i was invited for a face-to-face interviews: 2 personal fit interview, 1 case interview. I thought they went well, but I was rejected, not sure why. no explanations were given.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Deloitte (Londres, Angleterre) in Oct 2010
Interview
Applied online. Positive response two weeks later.
1:1 interview then occured two weeks later.
Took over three weeks to get feedback for which I had to chase.
The 1:1 interview was with a Senior Manager. Was a comfortable interview in terms of chatting about my capabilites and experiences as well as the role on offer.
It wasn't clear from the interview itself, but the feedback recieved was that I was not as the Manager level and there was a mismatch in applying for that level. At the Manager level, they expected significantly more consultancy experience (in terms of generating business) and leading projects and teams than what I had.
The individual who interviewed me came across well (informal but focussed), and the area of work on offer looked like it had lots of potential.
