I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Deliveroo (Melbourne) in Oct 2020
Interview
First Stage: Phone call with recruiter where she explained the role and it's responsibilities, she then asked questions about my background, to check my skills against the requirements of the role.
Second Stage: Behavioural and problem solving interview with the team leader.
Third Stage: Presentation of analytical tasks and cultural fit interview.
Verdicts:
I must commend the recruiter as she was very supportive through out the process.
But from a backgroud research I did, I have found Deliveroo Melbourne's Office to only keen to hire people from England with a few exceptions, which I think goes against Deliveroo's purported stance on diversity and inclusion.
It'll save a lot of the non-British applicant's valuable time by just advertising their job openings to candidates from England and bring them here on a visa.

Question 1
Questions that probes your analytical thinking skills, stakeholder management, and your ability to build trust.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and I'm sorry that you weren't successful in the process. While it just so happens that much of our Melbourne-based Operations team are British, we don't have a particular bias towards hiring people from England. Most of our hiring is done nationally.
